The annual children’s multilingual literary arts festival Monstrous Fun! @ The Arts House will return two days – 16 June to 17 June 2023 with imaginative arts and craft activities inspired by home-grown stories, bilingual storytelling sessions, interactive tours, and Magical Monster Hunt. The house invites families to embark on a literary adventure and let their imagination run free in Singapore-based authors’ fantastical world of children’s stories.

Families can expect a wide range of captivating literary-based English, Chinese, Malay and Tamil programmes for children aged 3-12 years at TAH. Encouraging children to delve into the imaginative world of folklores and local tales, Monstrous Fun! presents a line-up of interactive programmes that brings these stories to life. This includes the immersive The Arts House Story Tour that takes children on a journey to discover the history behind Singapore’s oldest government building and the Giant Poetry Wall that invites young ones to try crafting their poems.

Participants can also anticipate the return of the well-loved Magical Monster Hunt with mystical mysteries and puzzles to uncover and activities that blend arts and crafts with children’s stories, such as wire sculpture making and mask painting.
