About Weekender Group
Weekender Group Pte Ltd is an independent media owner with a suite of integrated media offerings including print, digital and distribution.
Our mission is to inspire people with information on events, food, travel, fashion, health & beauty, sports and more lifestyle news to help people find activities and excitement all weekend. Weekender is poised for growth, with developments in digital and other media platforms to extend our media reach and offer.
As a social enterprise, we have employed over 30 socially-disadvantaged Singaporeans and work closely with the Institute of Mental Health, SACS and various CDCs. This helps in regular employment opportunity for them to acquire social and professional skills to be self-reliant and return to the workforce full-time in the long run. We also support other social enterprises by featuring them on our print and digital platforms. The publicity helps to create brand awareness for these brands such as Eighteen Chefs, Laksania and SNCF. We are pleased to be nominated in the 2015 President Challenge’s Social Enterprise Award.
