7. Life Goes On: A Photography Exhibition by Lionel Leo at ION Art Gallery
From 20 to 28 May 2023, Life Goes On: A Photography Exhibition by Lionel Leo takes over ION Art gallery, showcasing 40 photographs from his years of travelling across the world, capturing subjects as they go about their everyday lives to showcase authentic moments and settings. Set against the vastly different backdrops that span Cuba, India, and his home bases of Hong Kong and Singapore, his subjects become transcendental, beautiful, and even provocative through his lens. The exhibition is held in support of The Nepal Initiative, an organisation that funds projects concerning education and children’s welfare in Nepal and aims to highlight beauty everywhere and the moving and inspirational life stories of everyday individuals and unsung heroes.
This exhibition is open to the public. Shoppers and visitors to ION Orchard can visit the ION Art Gallery to be inspired, uplifted, and reminded of the beauty that exists in the world.
