Relieve the memories of queuing for the iconic milo truck after a long adrenaline-filled sports day back in school or the times you cheered your friends on in their relays and various interclass games at Singapore HeritageFest 2023’s Closing Weekend Sports Day, happening from 27 to 28 May 2023, 9am – 6pm on both days!
From gunny-sack relays and the traditional game of “main lereng” to other sports try-outs like table tennis alongside impressive showcases by master practitioners and experts in Wushu, Silambam and Silat, the programme promises something for all festival-goers – be it athletic or not.
If you prefer indoor activities, you can also check out the special Homeground exhibition within the museum and jalan along the best of Singapore’s heritage trails and landmarks relating to the nation’s rich sports and public transport history.
