The freshly introduced Red Bean Yam’O (S$2.30/pc) from Old Chang Kee arrives in an auspicious flower-shaped pastry donning a vibrant red hue, created using 100% red dragon fruit powder to complement the Chinese Zodiac’s Year of the Dragon. The filling comprises a sweet red bean paste, blended with diced yam cubes and infused with dried tangerine, imparting a hint of citrus to enhance the overall aroma and flavor.
They will also be randomly stamped with Chinese auspicious words that are 發,财 and 旺 with the following meanings:
