The shocking announcement came in the wee hours in the morning on 10 October. Chef Andre’s two-Michelin-starred Restaurant Andre in Bukit Pasoh Road is to be closed on 14 February next year. The chef also wished to be excluded from next year’s Michelin Guide Singapore. What’s next for the gentle chef? He said that he’ll be putting his energy into Raw, located in Taipei. Following the news, the restaurant now offers an $800 menu as a parting gesture.
