Calling all young eco-warriors and budding entrepreneurs! Singapore is hosting its very first Sustainable Kids Market at Marina Square on 25 and 26 May 2024. This unique event is all about empowering children and promoting environmental consciousness.
The market features a special “KIDSforKIDS” initiative, where kids aged up to 12 can set up booths to sell their own sustainable creations! With help from their parents, they can showcase anything from eco-friendly crafts to upcycled treasures. There will also be workshops and activities focused on sustainability, teaching kids valuable lessons about protecting the planet.
This isn’t just about fun and games though. All proceeds from the market will be channelled directly towards educational and enrichment programs for underprivileged children living in Singapore’s public rental flats. It’s a fantastic opportunity for kids to learn about social responsibility and give back to the community, all while having a blast!
The event will take place at Marina Square Foyer, L2 6 Raffles Boulevard.
