8. Happy Sing-Along (欢喜来唱歌)

Introducing a new program designed to celebrate our senior citizens and showcase our rich dialect culture, known as “Happy Sing-Along.” These special sessions will take place on selected Wednesdays throughout the months, commencing with the inaugural session on 4 October 2023, at the SCCC Auditorium, running from 3 pm to 5 pm.

This engaging event will be hosted by popular television and radio personalities, Marcus Chin, Lee Peifen, and Hao Hao. Attendees will have the opportunity to sing along to beloved dialect and Mandarin pop songs performed by local artists. Some sessions will also feature interactive Q&A segments and skits that aim to promote local Chinese culture. To ensure wider accessibility, the performances will be live-streamed on SCCC’s Facebook page. Tickets for these sessions are priced at $4, with an additional $1 administration fee.
