From 21 to 24 June, the International Storytelling Festival Singapore (or StoryFest for short) returns to broaden your imagination with fascinating tales. “Make Believe” is this year’s theme for the festival, drawing from spellbinding myths and folklore from around the world. We are in for a range of live performances, exhibitions, masterclasses and workshops that showcase the power of storytelling. Highlights on the stage include a one-woman show about the life of iconic artist Frida Kahlo, a theatrical retelling of the ancient epic of Gilgamesh, Asian folktales re-imagined by emerging and established Singapore storytellers, and three kid-friendly performances perfect for families. All events are held at The Arts House.
