The call for applicants has opened, and here are some useful tips to help you submit a winning entry

Do you think your team has what it takes to be part of AXN’s ultimate adventure?
In this season of “The Amazing Race Asia”, 10 teams of fearless warriors from all over Asia will embark on a once-in-a-lifetime experience across the globe. The first team to arrive at the final destination will win “The Amazing Race Asia” and a US$100,000 prize.
Video applications are now open and they must be submitted by Sunday, Jun 12 at 11:59pm.
If you’re planning to enter, here are five tips to help you craft a winning video entry:
1. Start with a crazy story about yourself and your friends
Make you and your friends memorable by talking about some of your wildest adventures together.
What crazy, cool or unusual hidden talents do you have? What’s the weirdest thing that’s ever happened to you while travelling?
2. Talk about the show
What about the show inspires you, and why are you a good fit for it? What kind of teammate will you be on the show?
3. Make sure you are well lit
If shooting indoors, make sure the area is well-lit and your face can be seen clearly.
If shooting outdoors, make sure you have plenty of natural light and don’t stand in front of direct sunlight.
4. Make your voice heard – literally
Speak loudly and clearly. If shooting indoors, find a quiet space to decrease distracting ambient noise.
If shooting outdoors, avoid windy areas as the sound of the wind will distort the quality of your video.
5. Shoot in the right orientation
Your video will be used on television, so be sure to shoot horizontally instead of in portrait (vertical) format.
