Over 100 singers come together in 10 awesome concerts, in 1 great International A Capella Festival
Let music lift you up as the International A Capella Festival returns with globe-trotting vocal acts from Switzerland, all over Asia and Singapore this October!
No instruments, just voices
Held over the month of October, the festival will take place at the Aliwal Arts Centre, apart from the Opening Concert.
Lift your voices with The A Cappella Society at the massive Opening Concert at the Botanic Gardens, and lift off with concerts by various groups that dot your world map with headliners The Glue (Switzerland), Gay Singers (Hong Kong), Voco Novo (Taiwan), Zenith (Korea), Jamaica Cafe (Indonesia), local favourites NANU and more!
Warm your vocal cords
Prefer to actively participate instead of just watching these live performances? Join in the Festival Fringe Activities! Want to learn to sing? Go for the TAS Workshop Series – Introduction to Complete Vocal Technique (CVT) and warm those vocal cords.
Watch and get hands-on with a cappella at the festival Camp A Cappella hosted by The Glue, and also catch singers and beatboxers jamming it live at SingJazz club.
In order to reach out to more people, the festival also has showcases at local libraries and bookshops. Look out for them!
Show your support
We look forward to seeing our local home-grown a capella acts such as Singapore Rock Choir, TAS Voices, Vocablends and NANU alongside international acts.
Do show your support for these local acts representing Singapore.
All these exciting performances and more await in one fun festival, over one entire month.
International A Cappella Festival 2014, 1 to 31 Oct, 7.30pm onwards, Aliwal Arts Centre & Singapore Botanic Gardens.
Tickets at $30/$35.
