2. Whisky Live Singapore Returns
Whisky Live Singapore (WLS), Asia’s most distinguished tasting festival for fine spirits, is set to return for its 14th edition on 22 and 23 November 2025. Presented by La Maison du Whisky, the two-day event will transform the École Hôtelière de Lausanne (EHL) Singapore Campus into an immersive playground for enthusiasts and newcomers alike, emphasizing education and community.
The festival will showcase an impressive line-up of global brands, including Nikka Whisky, Kavalan, and Blanton’s, and offer unprecedented rarities and Singapore-only cask exclusives. Visitors can enjoy guided tastings and intimate masterclasses led by master distillers, exploring everything from the nuances of independent bottlers to the differences between mezcal and tequila.
This year features a historic highlight: the Singapore debut of the world’s oldest Scotch ever bottled, an 85-year-old from Glenlivet Distillery, released by Gordon & MacPhail. Only two to three bottles have been secured for the market, and one lucky WLS raffle winner will have the rare opportunity to taste the liquid itself. Exclusive releases include a Singapore-only barrel from Blanton’s Single Barrel Bourbon and the Asia debut of The Nikka Limited. Beyond whisky, the festival features a vibrant Rum & Spirits Gallery showcasing innovations, such as Maison Ferrand’s ecoPOUCH and the Kongo x Neisson Mizunara Project, which bridges fine rum with contemporary art.
Tickets start from S$120 for a single-day pass, granting unlimited tastings of over 300 fine spirits and access to complimentary masterclasses. For an elevated experience, the VIP Pass (from S$220) offers exclusive access to a VIP-only zone featuring rare expressions and early access to La Boutique.
Extending the celebration, Cocktail Street returns from 14 to 23 November, with ten of Singapore’s top bars offering exclusive cocktails starting from S$10. Whisky Live Singapore continues its tradition of forging connections between the drink and the drinker, celebrating the future of fine spirits in Asia.
