1. Avatar: Fire and Ash Immersive Experience Lands at Plaza Singapura

The magic of Pandora has officially landed at Plaza Singapura with a new immersive experience celebrating the release of Avatar: Fire and Ash. Open daily at the Level 1 Front Plaza until 4 January 2026, this interactive booth allows visitors to explore the contrasting landscapes of the Metkayina clan’s coastal village and the fiery volcanic terrain of the new Ash People. Guests can deepen their immersion by using Meta Quest headsets to watch the film’s trailer in its entirety in virtual reality. The space also features a retail section where fans can purchase exclusive merchandise, including a unique glow-in-the-dark shirt.

Beyond the visual spectacle, visitors can unlock various cinema rewards by participating in the experience. By sharing a photo of the booth on social media and tagging @20thCenturyStudiosSG, fans will receive a limited-edition sticker and a discount voucher for Golden Village concessions. Furthermore, those who present their sticker along with a pair of IMAX 3D tickets at Shaw Theatres Lido can redeem a free regular popcorn combo.

While the booth is open from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM, the VR experiences and giveaways operate on a specific schedule, so be sure to plan your visit accordingly.

2. PAC-MAN Takes Over Sentosa’s Sands

Sentosa has transformed into a vibrant beach wonderland this holiday season as The Palawan @ Sentosa hosts Southeast Asia’s largest PAC-MAN Carnival. From 12 December 2025 to 11 January 2026, visitors can immerse themselves in the “Strike, Spot and Score” adventure, which features massive character inflatables and hidden standees across popular attractions like HyperDrive and Splash Tribe. 6. PUTIEN Oyster Festival Arrived

The much-anticipated PUTIEN Oyster Festival has officially returned, shining a spotlight on its celebrated “120-day” winter oysters harvested from the pristine coastal waters of Fujian. These premium oysters are a Nationally Recognised Geographical Indication Product, prized for their natural breeding process and peak-season quality. To ensure optimal freshness, each oyster is shucked immediately after harvest and air-flown to Singapore via a strictly monitored, complete cold-chain process.

Diners can savour six distinct preparations, including crowd favourites such as PUTIEN Crispy Oyster and the aromatic Braised Oysters with Basil. Making their debut this season are two new creations: the comforting Claypot Oysters with Seaweed and Sautéed Oysters with Bamboo Shoots, which add a refreshing crunch to the briny richness.

The festival runs until 14 April 2026, with each dish priced at S$19.80 nett, or available as part of PUTIEN’s curated Joyous and Prestige set menus.

7. TANYU Reinvents the Skewer Scene at 313@Somerset

TANYU has officially revamped its flagship outlet at 313@Somerset, transforming it into Singapore’s first interactive Chinese skewer destination. Best known for its signature grilled fish, the brand now introduces a distinctive “Self-Pick” skewer experience, where diners can choose from over 40 varieties of freshly prepared skewers. Highlights include premium ingredients such as imported Angus beef and Iberico black pork, grilled to smoky perfection right before guests’ eyes. The new concept pairs modern Chinese design with a vibrant, social atmosphere—ideal for casual catch-ups and family gatherings alike.

9. Bangkok Jam Launches Banthat Thong Street Food Series

Bangkok Jam has officially launched its new Banthat Thong Street Food Series, bringing the lively flavours and street-side energy of one of Thailand’s most iconic food destinations straight to the table. Inspired by Banthat Thong Road, the limited-time menu showcases a curated mix of savoury and sweet street food favourites, available now through 31 December 2025.

Diners can explore innovative dishes like the Sticky Rice Burrito (S$12.90++) , which reimagines classic Thai Basil Chicken or Sweet Chilli flavors wrapped in fragrant glutinous rice, or indulge in the legendary Hat Yai Crispy Chicken (S$16.90++) for a more traditional crunch.

The experience extends into dessert with a theatrical twist on Thailand’s popular fluffy toasts. 10. Shane Pow Brings Woodland Warmth to Chef X

Local actor Shane Pow steps away from the camera and into the kitchen with the launch of Taiyo Camp Club by Taiyo, a camping-themed pop-up at Chef X. Running from 12 November 2025 to 6 January 2026, the urban campsite at Clarke Quay Central spotlights artisanal banana loaves from Shane’s home-based brand, Taiyo Bread Shop.

Fans can look forward to signature flavours such as the classic Going Bananas (S$30/loaf, S$4/slice), the walnut-studded Nutty Nana (S$33/loaf, S$4.50/slice), and the dark chocolate-laden Chocoloco (S$33/loaf, S$4.50/slice). Each batch is handcrafted by Shane himself, delivering a moist crumb and delicate texture in every slice.

Beyond banana bread, the pop-up also offers exclusive bakes, including burnt butter Kohaku Focaccia (S$4), a classic Carrot Cake (S$6), and a festive Pecan Pie created specially for the Christmas season.

Rounding out the menu are savoury campfire-inspired bites such as Midnight Ramyeon (S$8.50) topped with popcorn chicken, alongside spicy Golden Drumlets (S$10/8 pieces).
