9. PUMA launches cross-collaboration with KARL LAGERFELD and Sophia Webster
Global sports brand PUMA presents their cross-collaboration with KARL LAGERFELD and Sophia Webster, launching high-street kicks with a touch of Karl Lagerfeld’s sophistication, and bringing back the neon colour blocks of the 80’s to kick off the spring-summer 2019 season!
Covered in playful polka dot pattern, the sporty-chic designs of the PUMA x KARL LAGERFELD collection are crafted from soft leather to provide both comfort and style. A reflection of KARL LAGERFELD’s signature aesthetic with their distinct shades of black and white, the collaboration features two designs: a unisex Roma and a Roma Armor for women. The unisex style is built with a soft leather upper and a KARL LAGERFELD graphic on its side. The women’s sneaker features a satin finished upper and unique graphics of the KARL LAGERFELD logo. Both designs have die-cut stacked midsole decked with oversized KARL LAGERFELD branding.
Meanwhile PUMA and Sophia Webster kicked off the Spring-Summer ’19 season with a stand-out collection of sneakers and apparel for women and kids. Drawing inspiration from workout gear of the 80’s and her passion for dance, the collection reveals Sophia’s unique eye for the feminine, the powerful and the irresistible.
Sophia’s chic femininity appears across classic silhouettes like the Suede, Muse, CALI and Thunder. The wide selection of footwear is complemented with an equally extensive apparel range – from tees, crews and crop tops to tights and shorts. Introducing an updated logo to bring a new creative element to the garments, the collection brings back a renewed version of the SS18 two-piece set this time with a mesh construction while the reversible crop top is inspired by practicing ballroom outfits.
