7. Koon Seng Road

After savouring Singapore’s delicious Peranakan cuisine all around Joo Chiat and Katong, feast your eyes on the beautiful Peranakan architecture and design. Along Koon Seng Road is a long row of terrace shophouses painted in pretty pastels, mythical motifs, and French windows. Lived in by Peranakans until the 1970s, the houses tell the story of early Singapore.
