9. Maison Margiela and Gentle Monster Present a Popup Space for Their First Collaboration
The union of the two brands constructs a new ‘Créature’ manifested through a unique campaign with Katerina Jebb’s high-resolution scanning technique. Conceived by Creative Director John Galliano and Gentle Monster, the genderless line – which includes sunglasses and spectacles – was founded on concepts developed in the Artisanal atelier and encompasses eleven designs across numerous colourways.
The comprehensive eyewear collaboration is sold at Gentle Monster and Maison Margiela’s on/offline stores, and global select shops. Celebrating the launch, collaborative pop-ups will be held in seven cities around the world.
Maison Margiela x Gentle Monster popup will be held in seven cities around the world: Seoul, New York, London, Singapore and 3 cities in China. At the seven select cities, A special cushion will be handed out to purchasers at the pop-up stores, in a limited amount, on a first-come, first-served basis.
