Since its opening, Casa Vostra has quickly become one of the most talked-about Italian restaurants in town—and for good reason.
It’s not unusual to see a queue forming outside during peak hours, and yes, you might have to wait. But here’s the thing: it’s worth it.
Tucked in a cosy corner of Raffles City, Casa Vostra doesn’t rely on flashy gimmicks or Instagrammable decor to draw crowds. Instead, it offers something far more lasting—genuine, heartfelt Italian cooking that feels both comforting and elevated. From the first bite, you get the sense that this is food made with deep respect for tradition and a sharp eye for balance.

Chef Antonio Miscellaneo is at the helm, whose warm, rustic approach to Italian cuisine is both soulful and refined. I began my meal with the Baked Scamorza (S$6++), a molten smoked cheese dish drizzled with honey and herbs—it’s the kind of starter that makes you pause mid-bite just to savour. The Flan di Zucca (S$12++), a silky pumpkin flan, was delicate yet flavourful!

We have to give a special shoutout to their pizza. We tried their newly launched Prosciutto e Figura (S$27++), which paired savoury Parma ham with fig purée and candied walnuts — an effortlessly elegant combination. The well-fermented crust added a rich, slightly sweet depth of flavour that truly elevated the entire pizza.
For mains, Mamma’s Aglio e Olio (S$15++++) hit all the right nostalgic notes. At the same time, the Beef Cheek Pappardelle was the definition of hearty comfort—slow-cooked ragù, tender beef cheek, and just the right amount of smokiness from speck, all tied together with rich San Marzano tomatoes.

We recommend the Coppa al Cioccolato (S$13++) for dessert — layers of 72% dark chocolate gelato and hazelnut crumble. It’s indulgent without being overly sweet, making it the perfect ending to a meal that already feels like a warm embrace.
Suppose you enjoy pairing your meal with a drink. In that case, you’re in for a treat — Casa Vostra also offers an impressive selection of wines and signature cocktails to elevate your dining experience.
Despite the inevitable crowds, Casa Vostra delivers a refreshingly grounded experience. With warm, attentive service, generous portions, and consistently satisfying dishes, it’s a spot that welcomes both loyal Italian food lovers and newcomers alike. Queue or no queue, it’s the kind of place you’ll want to return to.
