Have a “Great Lunch Steak Out” at District 10 Suntec City

Traditionally seen as a dinner time food, we reckon there shouldn’t be any rules when it comes to having steak for lunch too. This is especially true now that District 10 Suntec City has launched their “Great Lunch Steak Out” promotion.
Lunchtime diners can enjoy a 700g Bistecca Alla Fiorentina Steak at $45++ per person, with a minimum of three diners. The lunch promotion also includes a soup of the day or a butter lettuce salad.
Flame grilled Fiorentina steaks
A traditional dish from Florence, Italy, the Fiorentina T-bone steak is a generous cut of meat that is flame grilled to achieve a charred exterior and medium-rare interior. The meat does all the work as it is only seasoned with sea salt, black pepper, and extra virgin olive oil and served with a simple rocket salad.
At District 10, only Head Chef Luca Pezzera carefully selects only the best of his meats to serve as Fiorentina steak. Charcoal grilling helps to intensify the beef’s robust flavours, giving you a burst of succulent meat with each bite.
For big eaters
If 700g of beef shared among three people doesn’t sound like enough for you, there are also plenty of side dishes to choose from. We recommend the Creamy Truffle Mash ($14) that comes with bits of mashed truffles, not just truffle oil. The Grilled Asparagus ($16) was another hit. Flame grilled using the same charcoal as the steak, the charred asparagus was a smokey and crunchy without being too fibrous.
To round off the meal, have some of District 10’s signature desserts. The Espresso Panna Cotta with Vanilla Sauce ($12) will eliminate any need for a post-meal cup of coffee as it has the caffeine kick to keep you going for the rest of the day; even after such a hugely satisfying meal.
