3. Ant-Man and the Wasp

Still upset over how Infinity War ended? We feel you. What we need is a fun, light-hearted movie from the same cinematic universe to tide things over until Captain Marvel arrives to answer our burning questions. As gleaned from the trailer, Ant-Man and the Wasp is all about bringing light into a dark time. The film also offers answers to Ant-man’s noticeable absence during the epic fight against Thanos elsewhere. Set in the aftermath of Captain America: Civil War but before Infinity War, the Ant-Man sequel deals with the consequences of Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) being captured by Team Iron Man and put under house arrest. Also juggling his duties as a single father, Scott is approached by Hope van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly) and Dr. Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) about an urgent mission that will reveal secrets from the past and bring the heroes into battle with a powerful new villain. Scott’s best friend and a fan-favourite from the first movie, Luis (Michael Pena), is also back in a big way. Expect lots of laughs, awesome action sequences, and badass women as the main villain and Marvel’s first titular female superhero. Don’t forget to stick around after the movie ends for two end credit scenes.
