10. Copper Dog Collaborated with Street Superior Festival and VeChain
Bold art and packaging inspired by urban art and graffiti culture were created by local artist Russell Ong aka Lonerslugs, chosen by Street Superior for his distinctive artistic style. The exciting new look reflects Copper Dog’s commitment to promoting a vibrant community of street culture and craftsmanship.
Copper Dog whisky is a tribute to the original craftsmen of Speyside who used Copper Dogs, copper tubes with a penny soldered to one end and a cork in the other, to pilfer whisky from the distillery in quiet opposition of the taxes imposed on their craft. Bringing this to present-day, Copper Dog champions the makers in Singapore behind the craft-the hawkers, street artists, designers and creatives pushing against conformity to keep Street Culture alive.
100 individually numbered Limited Edition bottles will be available exclusively at the festival. Priced at $128 per bottle, the Limited-Edition Copper Dog Whisky series will be exclusively available at Street Superior Festival each bottle comes with its own Copper Dipper, which can be personalised with a customised engraving onsite, held this year at *SCAPE on the 2nd and 3rd November.
