7 Pop-Up Restaurants We Want To See In Singapore

When are these gonna pop up in town?

Pop-up restaurants are few and far between, but when they do happen, they tend to be massively popular. Combine the charm of novelty with the limited-time-only lure that sparks our kiasu hearts, and you'll get the recipe for an unforgettable dining experience.

We've recently gotten a taste of pop-up concepts like the Pokemon Cafe and theatrical dining company Andsoforth's projects, but we're craving for more. Here are seven of the most fascinating pop-up restaurants we want to see in Singapore.

6. Being positive pays

Last year, Marmite opened a pop-up shop in Soho Grind in London serving Marmite-based snacks – and charged visitors in a unique way.

The Love Cafe let people “pay by sentiment” using Twitter. A “Love-O-Meter” was used to analyse their tweets in order to determine if the visitor was a hater or a “lover” on Twitter. Those who were identified as “lovers” were given a free Marmite snack and a coffee, while haters had to pay.

If done in Singapore: Instead of Twitter, try Instagram or Facebook. Bonus snacks if visitors spread the positivity by sharing the pop-up online.
