7 Pop-Up Restaurants We Want To See In Singapore

When are these gonna pop up in town?

Pop-up restaurants are few and far between, but when they do happen, they tend to be massively popular. Combine the charm of novelty with the limited-time-only lure that sparks our kiasu hearts, and you'll get the recipe for an unforgettable dining experience.

We've recently gotten a taste of pop-up concepts like the Pokemon Cafe and theatrical dining company Andsoforth's projects, but we're craving for more. Here are seven of the most fascinating pop-up restaurants we want to see in Singapore.

5. Order for someone else

In Kashiwa, Japan, your meal at Ogori Cafe is always a mystery. You step in and place an order, but you’ll actually receive what the patron before you had ordered. In turn, your own order will go to the next visitor in line.

Thankfully, the menu isn’t as radical as some of the others in this list. Patrons can get anything from an iced coffee and a brownie to a spread of appetisers.

If done in Singapore: Have a sabo (sabotage) option. Jokers who choose to sabo other patrons will be served a random radical dish – a taste of their own medicine.
