When are these gonna pop up in town?

Pop-up restaurants are few and far between, but when they do happen, they tend to be massively popular. Combine the charm of novelty with the limited-time-only lure that sparks our kiasu hearts, and you’ll get the recipe for an unforgettable dining experience.
We’ve recently gotten a taste of pop-up concepts like the Pokemon Cafe and theatrical dining company Andsoforth‘s projects, but we’re craving for more. Here are seven of the most fascinating pop-up restaurants we want to see in Singapore.

1. Play poker to win your meal
Last year, company PokerStars teamed up with Spanish restaurant Pata Negra in Bristol, UK, to set up a poker-themed dining experience. Patrons sat at a free-to-play one-table turbo tournament and played three rounds of poker.
The player with the biggest pile of chips at the end received a free three-course dinner, while the second and third places enjoyed discounts on their food.
Of course, the event also came with obligatory poker-inspired dishes, such as Three-of-a-Kind skewers and The Pot, a dark chocolate dessert with olive and rosemary shortbread.
If done in Singapore: Make it a Mahjong tournament. Sell Mahjong tiles made of kueh and deal chips made of colourful wafer circle snacks.
