1. Oman

Explore Oman’s striking Green Mountains, Muscat and the pristine coastline in Salalah as the weather starts to get cooler from November. The cold weather is expected to last till March. Soak in some of the finest views in the Middle East in Oman’s dramatic interior, and explore local Omani villages to get under the skin of this understated, but incredibly beautiful country.

You can also book a private car and guide with Scott Dunn that will whisk you to several stunning accommodations, including the Alila Jabal Akhdar, a mountainous area perched 2000 metres above sea level, home to tiny villages and fantastic walking trails. Take in the pristine mountain air and incredible scenery, and head out on foot to the rose-growing villages and small towns to decompress from the rush of city living.
