By Samantha Francis

Dance-inspired workouts are a great way to keep fit without actually feeling like you’re exercising. Let the music soothe your soul as you move your way to a stronger body.

WeBarre is dedicated to all things barre — a workout that combines ballet technique, yoga, pilates and strength training.

Ballet Moves Without Tutus

Tall mirrors and barres grace the WeBarre studio but you’d be hard pressed to find somebody dressed like a ballerina. Instead, you’ll see students working up a sweat with ballet-inspired moves.

WeBarre is the first boutique barre studio in Singapore dedicated to all things barre — a workout that combines ballet technique, yoga, pilates and strength training.

Among the classes offered, the most popular is the Signature class, a 60-minute full body workout that challenges your endurance, strength, cardio fitness and flexibility, including a five-minute HIIT (high-intensity interval training) section to really fire up your muscles.

First-timers can expect to perform isometric contractions (small controlled movements), pulses, plies and more, to a catchy music playlist. Just don’t forget to point your toes!

New students can sign up for a seven-day unlimited class pack at $49.

WeBarre, 86 Tanjong Pagar Road, Singapore 088507, Tel: 62215539
