Do you ever feel like social media has invaded your privacy?
Not really. It’s my choice to share about my private life. On social media, you get to experience the real Kelly Poon; not just who you see on stage or on TV.
Social media taught me to be less shy and that it’s okay to have raw, unedited images of myself. It just shows everybody my true self.
How do you deal with mean comments?
I can’t deny that haters do occasionally get to me. It makes me cringe and wonder why some people have to be so mean. But if the negative comments are constructive, I do try to change and adapt if it’s for my own good.
What are your favourite apps?
My favourite photo editing apps include P1TU, SnapSeed and Boomerang. I also follow Taiwan entertainment news channels and use Carousell to buy and sell items online.
What are some gadgets you travel with?
I always have my Sony earphones and Hello Kitty battery charger pack — this power-packed kitty can charge my phone up to three times!
You absolutely can’t live without…
Without a doubt, my iPhone, iPad and MacBook Air. I also use my Pebble watch to track my sleep and exercise routine.
