Singapore Fashion Week 2016 kicked off with Chinese haute couturier Guo Pei, a dazzling start to a week's worth of fashion merry making.

We also found ourselves marveling at an interactive fashion-meets-technology fashion show presented by Microsoft Surface, in collaboration with home grown designer Max Tan.

From haute couture ball gowns to ready-to-wear apparel, the detailed workmanship of Guo Pei’s collection left the audience bedazzled.

East meets West in the majority of her designs, with standout pieces like an embroidered vest with peacock feathers.
