Singapore Fashion Week 2016 kicked off with Chinese haute couturier Guo Pei, a dazzling start to a week’s worth of fashion merry making.

We also found ourselves marveling at an interactive fashion-meets-technology fashion show presented by Microsoft Surface, in collaboration with home grown designer Max Tan.

1. The iconic canary yellow gown

Yes, this is the gown worn by Rihanna at the MET Gala in New York last year, in all of its glory.

It was showcased to VIP patrons and the media right before the start of her fashion show, and we were taken away by the beauty of its intricacy.
