The 91st Academy Awards have come and gone, a host-less night that gave us many memorable moments. What did you think about the Best Picture pick? Was it a surprise to you, and were you upset that your favourite movie got snubbed? If you haven't seen most or even any of the movies nominated for the night's top prize, make some time to catch them all now so that you can discuss which should have won with your friends and family! Most of the movies are still showing in Singapore cinemas, where you can best experience the movie magic.
3. Black Panther
After setting lots of new standards in movie diversity, Black Panther continued to make history during awards season. The movie was the first superhero film to get a Best Picture nomination at the Oscars, and gave MCU their first-ever Oscar wins (there were three).
Where to watch it: If you haven’t seen Black Panther yet, we don’t know you. Just kidding. (Maybe.) But the Marvel film was released over a year ago, so cinemas are no longer showing it. Your best luck is to look out for it on (SingTel channel ), rent or buy it on iTunes, or stream it wherever you get your movies. We don’t want to know.
