Pop the champagne – Opus Bar & Grill is turning four! And to celebrate the big birthday, the restaurant is treating you to some wine. Order any of their sharing steak cuts, and you will get to enjoy a bottle of premium red wine worth $90, on the house!
We can’t think of a better way to toast to four successful years of the grill restaurant than by tucking in to some of their famous, delicious steaks. Located in the Hilton Singapore, Opus Bar & Grill is best known for their premium grilled steaks, and so popularly so that many diners and food critics consider it a steakhouse. One of the top 10 recommended steakhouses in Singapore, too, as TripAdvisor would add.
For the sharing steak and wine deal, diners have a variety of six different sharing cuts and platters to choose from. If you utterly love beef, go for the Premium Butcher’s Platter, which piles up a U.S. Black Angus bone-in rib eye, Wagyu rump cap, braised grain-fed Wagyu beef short rib, and gourmet beef sausages. Want to throw some fresh seafood in? The Australian Westholme Wagyu Sirloin And Whole Live Boston Lobster platter looks just yummy, and goes great with red wine.
All the sharing cuts and platters serve two, and prices start from $128++.
At the same time, though the signature plates are their steaks, Opus is a lot more than just a steakhouse. Step into the swanky modern restaurant, and you’ll find a bar featuring a range of in-house cocktail creations, and a large open-flame grill pod where you can watch the superb chefs grill all kinds of meats and seafood, sourced from around the world.

New Zealand Roasted Tenderloin ($128)
One of the new dishes that steak lovers should definitely order is the New Zealand Roasted Tenderloin ($128). It’s offered as sharing cuts, so yes, it is included in the aforementioned steak and wine deal! Want to enjoy the whole plate for yourself? The DeRaza Ibérico Pork Rack ($38) from Spain and the New Zealand Lamb Porterhouse Chops ($42) are tantalising choices and great for one.
Apart from the red wine, something else that pairs deliciously well with the grilled meats are the new premium side dishes. They include the Opus Over-the-Top Fries ($15) – and what is it so over-the-topped with? Luxurious foie gras fat, truffle oil and shaved Parmesan.
Rockling Fish with saffron-marinated seasonal vegetables ($38)
Away from land, Opus delights us with several new dishes from the ocean, too. If the steak meats are too filling for you, these sea catches are a scrumptious lighter alternative. Also from New Zealand is the Rockling Fish with saffron-marinated seasonal vegetables ($38), a vibrant dish that immediately caught our eye.
With the revamped menu, Opus also goes further with its green initiative and adds more sustainably sourced seafood dishes, certified by the Marine Stewardship Council (MSC). The Rockling Fish is one such dish.
Crab cake with celeriac remoulade and pink grapefruit ($18)
Start your meal on a delicious note with a refreshing new seafood starter – Crab Cake with celeriac remoulade and pink grapefruit ($18), or the MSC-certified sustainable Seared Atlantic Scallops ($22) served with butternut squash purée, pumpkin seeds and basil.
