Following the September 11 attacks, a U.S. Special Forces team is chosen to be the first American troops sent into Afghanistan for an extremely dangerous mission. In the rugged mountains, they must convince Northen Alliance General Dostum to join forces with them to fight their common adversary: the Taliban and their Al Qaeda allies. The movie is based on Doug Stanton’s non-fiction book Horse Soldiers, a now-declassified true story.
