What was Peter Pan up to before he met Wendy and the rest of the Darling children? In Peter And The Starcatcher, an imagined prequel to the Peter Pan legend, we join a younger Peter and his magical friend and starcatcher-in-training, Molly, on the high seas, battling evil pirates, cunning thieves, and mysterious mermaids. The original Broadway play won five Tony Awards in 2012 for its humorous and heartwarming story of high adventure, courage and friendship. From 28 September to 20 October, at the Drama Centre Theatre, Adrian Pang’s theatre company Pangdemonium brings us the play with over 100 characters played by a dozen actors, and a local twist: the faraway lands of Neverland become a little more familiar with a Singapore setting!
