The sequel to the popular Goosebumps movie in 2015 might not see Jack Black and the rest of the original cast returning, but Goosebumps 2 is still gearing up to be a fun and action-packed Halloween movie for the whole family. An adaptation of Haunted Halloween, one of R.L. Stine’s best-selling children’s books in the Goosebumps series, the movie mixes a dose of nostalgia with a new group of kid characters. After three teen friends stumble upon a mysterious Halloween book by R.L. Stine, a whole bunch of monsters, witches, and ghouls from the author’s imagination come alive. Slappy, the creepy and evil ventriloquist doll created by Stine, makes a terrifying appearance in their town, seeking to start an apocalypse on Halloween night. Listen out for Jack Black lending his spooky voice as Slappy!
