Stephen King’s 1983 classic horror novel gets a second big-screen adaptation, this time featuring a rather significant plot change. The basic premise remains: Dr Louis Creed moves his whole family to a rural town, and soon discovers there is something supernatural about a burial ground not far from their new home – it is able to bring whatever is buried there back to life. The doctor decides to resurrect one of his children who died, but an unintended series of horrors also arrive with the child. As the trailer says, “sometimes dead is better…”
