3. Toire no Hanako-san (1995)

Loosely translated to mean “Phantom of the Toilet”, the 1995 Japanese horror flick is about…well, a ghost residing in the school’s toilet, trapped in a doll’s body, but soon was set free, thanks to some nosey students. The film pays ode to a Japanese urban legend – Hanako-san, a spirit of a young girl who haunts school bathrooms. So if you’re fan of Japanese horror films in all of its supernatural glory, this is one you shouldn’t miss out!
