With the LionsXII players re-joining the S.League in the upcoming season, Singapore’s premier domestic football tournament is set to be an exciting affair.
Here are three players set to light up our domestic league when the action kicks off on Feb 12.
Gabriel Quak — Geylang International

Four goals in 22 appearances for the LionsXII this year made it the most effective season for Gabriel Quak, Singapore’s flying winger.
He has made the move to the ailing Geylang International FC, together with some of his current teammates such as Sahil Suhaimi and Shahfiq Ghani. The Eagles have now become overnight favourites for a top-three finish.
If the 24-year-old can recapture his form and capture the hearts of Geylang fans with his dynamic wing-play, Hasrin Jailani may just finish his debut season as an S.League coach with one of the three trophies up for grabs.
Christopher Van Huizen — Tampines Rovers

Three goals and seven assists shot Christopher Van Huizen to stardom, despite his role as super sub for Fandi Ahmad’s LionsXII.
Having been plucked from basketball court obscurity to earning his first cap for Singapore in the World Cup qualifiers this year, Van Huizen is destined for a bright career ahead.
Signing up to be part of V Sundramoorthy’s Tampines revolution, the 23-year-old speed demon could be the trump card to help the Stags win their sixth league title by the end of 2016.
Ken Ilso — Home United

Ken Ilso has played in the German Bundesliga with Fortuna Dusseldorf and it was unfortunate that an injury blighted his first season in the S.League with Home United.
Despite his stop-start season, the Dane still mustered 13 goals and 11 assists in all competitions.
Now fresh and injury-free, Ilso will be a frontrunner for the Player of the Year award if he can rediscover his form and devastating free-kick skills.
