Clear your October calendar and prepare the crown light sticks: BIGBANG is returning to Singapore for one enormous night at the National Stadium.
Some concerts feel like another date on the entertainment calendar. Others feel like a reunion, a cultural event and a collective trip back through time. BIGBANG’s return to Singapore belongs firmly in the second category.
The legendary K-pop group will take over the National Stadium at Kallang on 17 October 2026 as part of the BIGBANG 2026–2027 World Tour. The one-night-only show celebrates 20 years since the group’s debut and marks its first Singapore performance in 11 years.
For longtime V.I.Ps, that is not merely a long wait. It is practically an entire K-drama timeline.
Eleven Years Later, Singapore Is Ready
BIGBANG last performed in Singapore in 2015 during the group’s MADE World Tour at the Singapore Indoor Stadium. Since then, K-pop has grown from an enthusiastic international fandom into one of the world’s most powerful cultural forces.
Through all those changes, BIGBANG’s influence has remained unmistakable. The group helped shape the sound, fashion and performance style associated with modern K-pop, bringing together hip-hop swagger, emotional pop, experimental production and the kind of stage presence that turns an arena into a giant party.
Now, G-DRAGON, TAEYANG and DAESUNG are returning to the same Kallang precinct, but on an even bigger stage. The move from the Indoor Stadium to the National Stadium feels appropriately dramatic. This is, after all, BIGBANG. Subtle entrances have never really been part of the assignment.
Twenty Years of BIGBANG Energy
A 20th anniversary concert presents an unusually exciting question: how do you fit two decades of music into a single evening?
BIGBANG’s catalogue spans thundering dance tracks, stylish hip-hop cuts, playful crowd-pleasers and songs built for thousands of voices to sing together. Even before an official Singapore setlist is revealed, fans can expect the evening to draw on the different eras that made the group such an enduring name.
There will be fans who discovered BIGBANG through early releases, fans who joined during the group’s chart-dominating years and younger listeners who found the music long after its original release. At the National Stadium, those generations will finally occupy the same room or, more accurately, the same sea of yellow crown-shaped lights.
It is also the perfect excuse to revisit old playlists, practise every fan chant and investigate whether that carefully stored concert merchandise still fits.

Although anniversary tours naturally invite nostalgia, BIGBANG’s return is not simply an exercise in looking backwards.
The title suggests a celebration designed on a suitably galactic scale. The wider tour comprises 33 stadium shows, with Singapore following the group’s Taipei dates before further stops across Asia.
The National Stadium show will place BIGBANG before one of the largest possible concert crowds in Singapore. The venue can accommodate up to 55,000 people, depending on its configuration, making it a fitting setting for a group whose music has always worked best at maximum volume.
Expect spectacle. Expect sharp styling. Expect thousands of phones to appear at once when the opening notes of a favourite song begin.
Most importantly, expect the sort of live chemistry that cannot be recreated through a screen, no matter how many concert clips you have saved.
The Kallang’s Blockbuster Concert Season
BIGBANG’s arrival also adds another major name to The Kallang’s increasingly packed entertainment calendar.
The National Stadium and Singapore Indoor Stadium have become essential destinations for international tours passing through Asia. Their location allows concertgoers to turn a show into a full evening out, with dining, shopping and waterfront areas all within the surrounding precinct.
For overseas V.I.Ps travelling into Singapore, the concert offers a convenient excuse for a weekend getaway. For local fans, it may involve less travel—but probably just as much planning.

The show is promoted by AEG Presents Asia with YG Entertainment and sponsored by Marina Bay Sands and Trip.com Group. According to The Kallang Group, the concert forms part of its broader effort to bring major international entertainment and fan-focused experiences to Singapore.

The BIGBANG V.I.P Membership Presale begins at 12pm on Tuesday, 11 August 2026, and ends at 11.59pm that night.
The General Sale starts at 10am on Thursday, 13 August 2026, through Ticketmaster Singapore.
Tickets are priced from S$158 to S$498, excluding booking fees. Available categories include seated tickets, standing tickets, restricted-view seats and premium V.I.P packages. Purchases are limited to two tickets per transaction during the membership presale and four tickets per transaction during the general sale, inclusive of tickets secured earlier.
Doors open at 5pm, with the concert scheduled to begin at 7pm.
