OSK Nippon Revue Company Returns to Singapore with Revue Show!

Fans of Japanese musical theatre can catch the acclaimed OSK Nippon Revue Company (OSK日本歌劇団) when it returns to Singapore for three performances on 23 and 24 October 2026 at the Singtel Waterfront Theatre at Esplanade.

Founded in Osaka in 1922, the historic all-female revue company will present Revue Show!, a spectacular 70-minute production featuring glamorous costumes, synchronised choreography, live music and dazzling stage effects. Blending the elegance of traditional Japanese revue theatre with the energy of modern musical performance, the show offers audiences a rare chance to experience one of Japan’s most celebrated theatrical traditions live.

The production follows the company’s well-received Singapore appearances in 2020 and 2025, and is suitable for both long-time fans of Japanese performing arts and first-time audiences.

Leading this year’s cast are top male-role star Tsubasa Kazuki and top female-role star Chisaki Emi. Kazuki is one of OSK’s most prominent performers, known for her commanding stage presence and versatility in singing and dance. She has also appeared in NHK’s television drama Boogie Woogie and was awarded the 2024 Sakuya Konohana Award for her contributions to Osaka’s cultural scene.

Established over a century ago, the OSK Nippon Revue Company is regarded as one of Japan’s three great all-female revue companies. Their signature production, “Spring Dance,” debuted in 1926 and has since become a beloved seasonal event, performed annually at Shochikuza Theater in Osaka. While honoring the tradition of OSK Revue with its signature speedy and powerful line dance known as “Rockets,” the company consistently presents contemporary performances that captivate new generations of audiences.

Revue Show! will be staged on 23 October 2026 (Friday) at 7.30pm, and 24 October (Saturday) at 2pm and 6.30pm.

Tickets are available via Ticketmaster Singapore, with early-bird prices from S$72 until 31 August, and general sales beginning 1 September 2026.
