Buckle up for an intergalactic experience that is simply out of this world
With so much hype about the seventh installment of the Star Wars series, The Force Awakens, you’ll be spoilt for choice when it comes to fairs and exhibitions.
But the one fair to rule them all? The Star Wars atrium exhibition at VivoCity, we say. (Pardon the LOTR pun)
Even before stepping foot into the exhibition, you will come face to face with a spectacular installation of ten life-sized, 6 feet tall Stormtroopers which stand guard at the entrance to the exhibition. You can even snap a selfie with a Stormtrooper if you wish.
Once inside, look out for the fan-created Star Wars wall mural. Measuring 6.2m by 2.4m tall, the mural, built using only Lego bricks, is slated for a mention in the Singapore Book of Records.
Die-hard fans of the series will definitely love the fan-made Ultimate Millennium Falcon, which took Titan Creations, a group of six adult Star Wars fans, three months to build.
Take a part of Star Wars home
But don’t let the Star Wars experience end there. Grab the chance to bring home Star Wars memorabilia from Simply Toys, Toys ‘R’Us, Action City and Royal Selangor.
These souvenirs range from action figures and T-shirts to vinyl figures that will appeal to adult collectors.
