1. Yummy supper deals
Celebrate TGIF with IKEA on the first three Fridays (and Saturdays) of December as IKEA extends its shopping hours at both its Alexandra and Tampines stores. The stores will be open till midnight on Dec 4-5, Dec 11-12 and Dec 18-19.

2. Festive bakes (including the cutest Rudolph brioche)
Take a whiff of Bread Society’s festive breads and be whisked off to a European Christmas.
Treat yourself to creations, including the Merry Kouglof, a brioche topped with dried blueberry and lemon zest. Fans of fruity desserts can also try the Merry Berry, a traditional custard cream Danish shaped like a Christmas tree and decorated with fresh strawberries, blueberries and red currants.
The Rudolph-shaped brioches will also be a crowd pleaser, especially if among children.

3. “Toi & Moi” cocktails
“Toi & Moi”, meaning “You & Me”, is the second leg of the annual La Maison Cointreau bartending competition and the seven finalists have created special cocktails inspired by this theme.

3. Singapore’s newest National Monument
The National Heritage Board (NHB) has recently gazetted the former Fullerton Building — the current Fullerton Hotel (above) — as Singapore’s 71st National Monument. Head down to appreciate this historical giant and learn more about it in a special free exhibition at the East Garden Foyer Gallery, held from Dec 7 this year to Feb 28, 2016, from 9am to 10pm daily.

3. Buy beauty pouches designed by talented beneficiaries
Pathlight School and beauty studio Estetica have collaborated to launch a range of canvas pouches titled “Beautiful Inside: Where Beautiful Minds Meet”. Designed by students from Pathlight School, these pouches, featuring five designs, will be available for sale exclusively at Estetica Beauty Salons and the The Art Faculty by Pathlight from Dec 1 to 31.
Estetica will designate a dollar-for-dollar match for all pouches sold and all proceeds will go to Autism Resource Centre (Singapore), Pathlight School’s parent charity.
