2. The Dragon Chamber’s Halloween Chinese Funeral Theme
Following the success of its inaugural Full Moon event, the second chapter of the Shanghai Underground series undergoes a chilling transformation for its Halloween edition. Titled “Long Live the Dai Lo,” the speakeasy is revamping its concept to create a gang-horror-themed setting, allowing patrons to pay homage to the former leader of The Dragon Chamber amidst meals and libations.
The focus of this event primarily revolves around dining during the earlier hours, from 5 pm to 10 pm, and a special late-night supper menu available from 10 pm onwards. Diners will have the unique opportunity to enjoy their meals alongside a solemn coffin centrepiece, complete with funeral decor for memorable photo opportunities. Additionally, limited edition Halloween cocktails, such as the Black Heart, and shots like “Blood for Blood” will be on offer.
To add to the excitement, there will be a Best Dressed competition where participants can vie for the grand prize, a 2-day-1-night stay in the panoramic Duxton Room at the recently opened Mondrian Singapore Duxton. Runner-up prizes include bottles of Peddlers Gin and $100 worth of drink-and-dine vouchers for future visits. All Halloween-inspired drinks will be available from 24 to 31 October.
The Dragon Chamber is located at 2 Circular Road, Singapore 049358.
