1. Watch a Movie Beneath the Stars at METT Singapore
Swap the usual cinema seat for an evening under the trees as METT Cinema Nights makes its debut at Fort Canning on Saturday, from 6.30pm.
The open-air screening is designed as an entire night out rather than a simple movie showing. Arrive from 6.30pm for a Mediterranean barbecue, grazing table, bruschetta bar, dishes from the live grill and roaming desserts before settling in for the film.
Admission is S$88++ per person and includes food, a welcome drink and the screening. Eligible adult guests can also select an optional beverage package. The evening continues with music at Canning Bar & Lounge after the film.

2. Mondrian Singapore Duxton Introduces Sunset Socials
Mondrian Singapore Duxton is launching Sunset Socials, a new monthly rooftop series at Canyon Club that brings together cocktails, music, and community against Singapore’s sunset skyline.
Held on the last Friday of every month from 6:00pm to 9:00pm, each edition features a fresh line-up of collaborators inspired by the vibrant Duxton neighbourhood.
The inaugural event sees Ganesh, co-founder and bartender of 3 Delinquents, teaming up with Canyon Club’s Danial Hilman to serve an exclusive cocktail menu featuring locally crafted spirits from Rachelle the Rabbit Southeast Asian Distillery. Guests can also enjoy sunset beats by DJ JUSTO from Soul Vibes DJ Collective, while PartyPal will be handing out complimentary anti-hangover party favours.
The evening continues from 9:00pm with an after-party at 3 Delinquents, where Canyon Club takes over the bar to keep the celebrations going.
Canyon Club is open daily to both hotel guests and the public from 12:00pm to 11:00pm.
3. Get into the SG61 Spirit at Resorts World Sentosa
Make a day of it at Resorts World Sentosa, where National Day celebrations are already underway ahead of the long weekend.
At WEAVE, the I LOVE SG Pop-Up transforms beloved local favourites into playful collectibles, with plush versions of kopi, kaya toast, chilli crab and colourful traditional kueh alongside Mr Merlion appearances, themed merchandise and fun “cooking” demonstrations.
The local flavours continue across the resort with limited-time dishes and desserts, including chilli crab maki, Hainanese chicken rice donabe, kopi-inspired treats and festive pastries.
If you’re planning a visit to the Singapore Oceanarium, its main National Day programmes will take place from 8 to 10 August, making it a great reason to return the following weekend.

4. The Good Weekend 2026 Returns This National Day Weekend
Taking place this weekend (1–2 August 2026), from 10:00am to 6:00pm, the Good Weekend event brings together local brands, independent makers, social enterprises, and purpose-driven businesses for two days of thoughtful shopping, delicious food and drinks, hands-on workshops, and community experiences.
Browse handmade goods and homegrown products, discover meaningful gifts, take part in interactive workshops, or simply enjoy good food while learning the stories behind the passionate makers and businesses driving positive change.
More than just a market, The Good Weekend is an opportunity to shop with intention, support local entrepreneurs, and see how everyday purchases can make a lasting impact. Participating vendors have also pledged to donate part of their proceeds to local charities, making every purchase go a little further.
Admission is free, but advance registration is required to help manage crowd capacity and ensure a comfortable experience for all visitors, as the event is held inside the heritage venue, The Foundry.

5. Prada Caffè at Ion Orchard presents its New Summer Menu
Turn an Orchard Road shopping trip into a leisurely Italian-inspired lunch at Prada Caffè. Set within the Prada boutique at ION Orchard, the café’s celadon-green interiors, monochrome flooring and elegant tableware make even a quick afternoon pause feel like an occasion.
The new summer menu moves easily between light bites and indulgence. Try the Iberico tomato bruschetta, roasted octopus with piquillo peppers, creamy lobster-tail soup or a soft crab roll layered with tarragon and cream cheese.
For dessert, choose from artisanal gelato flavours such as pistachio, dark chocolate, vanilla and strawberry sorbet. A scoop can also be added to the café’s signature waffles for a particularly photogenic finish.

6. Madison’s Signature Seafood Bucket Returns
Madison’s at Pullman Singapore Hill Street is refreshing its popular Sunday Seafood Bucket with new flavours from 26 July 2026, introducing a bold Tteokbokki Sauce inspired by Korea’s iconic street food, alongside a playful local creation, Merlion Flame — a Singapore-inspired take on the classic Baked Alaska.
Available every Sunday from 12:00pm to 4:00pm, the Southern-style seafood boil is designed for sharing and starts from S$68++ for two, including five sides and dessert.
Guests can choose from two seafood bucket sizes, featuring a generous selection of Giant River Prawns, Slipper Lobster, Half Shell Mussels, Squid, Toman Fish and Asari Clams, served with Quail Eggs, Corn, Fried Bean Curd and Broccoli. The refreshed menu offers a choice between the new sweet-and-spicy Tteokbokki Sauce and the returning Lemon & Garlic Clam Sauce, paired with comforting sides such as Szechuan Pepper Fries, Fried Mantou and Chinese-Style Onion Pancake.
The meal concludes with the debut of Merlion Flame, a whimsical dessert that brings a local touch to the traditional Baked Alaska.

6. Try a Korean-Singaporean National Day Mash-Up at Bulgogi Syo
For something comforting, spicy and distinctly playful, Bulgogi Syo has created two Korean-meets-local dishes for SG61.
The Cheesy Chilli Crab Gamjajeon ($17.90++) is topped with a crisp Korean potato pancake, house-made chilli crab sauce, and melted cheese. The Gochujang Sambal Grilled Cod Fish ($25.90++) takes a more substantial route, pairing grilled fish with sotbap rice, kimchi salad and seaweed soup.
The celebration also includes selected SG61 savings and a S$6.10 mocktail tower, making this an easy group meal for friends or family.

8. Paris Baguette Gives Kopi Gao and Teh Tarik a French Café Twist
Paris Baguette has reworked two kopitiam favourites into limited-edition café drinks for National Day.
The Espresso Kopi Gao delivers the boldness of traditional kopi through an espresso-based recipe, available hot or iced. Tea drinkers can try the Royal Teh Tarik Peng, made with a blend of English Breakfast and Earl Grey for a fragrant take on the familiar pulled-tea drink.
Each promotional beverage is priced at S$6.10. Qualifying à la carte purchases also come with a complimentary Mini Butter Croissant while stocks last—a suitably French companion for a very Singaporean drink.

9. Molly Tea’s New Jasmine Mango Coconut Tea Is a Taste of Summer in a Cup

IN GOOD COMPANY’s new three-storey flagship in Joo Chiat offers a slower, more thoughtful shopping experience within a beautifully restored heritage shophouse.
