Time to feast on these local delights in celebration of Singapore’s 61st birthday!
1. Rediscover the Singapore River at The Warehouse Hotel
There is something fitting about marking National Day inside The Warehouse Hotel, a restored riverside building whose history stretches back to Singapore’s early trading days.
From 1 to 10 August 2026, both the Lobby Bar and Po Restaurant will introduce limited-time creations inspired by the people, stories and flavours associated with the Singapore River.
At Po Restaurant, the celebratory menu leans into recognisable local comfort food. Po’s Satay (S$18++) offers an easy plate for sharing, while Kari Ayam Kapitan (S$28++) draws on the aromatic, spice-rich flavours of Peranakan cooking. The River Prawn Hokkien Mee (S$28++) is likely to be the main attraction for noodle lovers, followed by Apom Berkuah (S$14++) for dessert.
The Lobby Bar will also present four heritage-inspired drinks named The Samsui Woman, The Coolie, The Hawker and The Gambler, each priced at S$24++. These are intended for guests of legal drinking age. Those who complete the full collection will receive a limited-edition Warehouse Hotel x Bicycle playing-card deck, while stocks last.
The Warehoues Hotel is located at 320 Havelock Road, Singapore 169628.

2. Take National Day Celebrations to the 52nd Floor at SUSHISAMBA
Celebrate Singapore’s birthday high above the city at SUSHISAMBA, where Japanese, Brazilian and Peruvian flavours meet local-inspired creations.

Guests can also sip on two exclusive National Day cocktails — The Lion City Fizz and Straits Spice Negroni — while enjoying live entertainment and panoramic skyline views.
On 9 August, the National Day Lunch (S$98++) offers a five-course menu featuring Lobster Tostada, Chicken Empanada, Salmon & Caviar, followed by a choice of Short Rib or Red Snapper, and Manjari Chocolate Brownie for dessert. A dedicated Kids’ Menu (S$35++) and optional free-flow Champagne and Rosé packages are also available.

3. Try Bak Chor Mee Reimagined as Dim Sum at Tim Ho Wan
What happens when Singapore hawker favourites meet Hong Kong-style dim sum? Tim Ho Wan’s *Flavours of Singapore* menu provides several playful answers.
Available from 21 July to 31 August 2026, the collection turns some of the country’s most familiar dishes into shareable dim sum creations.
The standout is the “Bak Chor” Rice Rolls (S$9.50++), which pairs silky cheong fun with minced pork, braised mushrooms and crispy pork lard. It captures many of the savoury notes of bak chor mee without literally reproducing the noodle dish.
The Laksa Seafood Dumplings (S$7.90++ for three) feature shrimp and scallops in an aromatic laksa broth, while the “Orh Nee” Salted Egg Sesame Balls (S$7.50++ for three) combine smooth yam paste with a molten salted-egg centre.
For something more substantial, there is XO Fried Rice with Bacon and Luncheon Meat (S$13.90++). The Calamansi Lemongrass Fizz (S$5.50++) offers a bright, citrusy counterpoint to the richer dishes.
Also making its debut is the Baked Black Pepper Roasted Duck Bun ($9.50++ for three), featuring roasted duck and black pepper sauce inside Tim Ho Wan’s recognisable crumbly baked bun. Diners who want to compare it with the original barbecue pork version can order the Baked Buns Duo Delight for S$5.90++.
Available at all Tim Ho Wan outlets islandwide.

4. Four Points Eatery Unveils Ah Pui Teochew Porridge Buffet in Collaboration with Kwong Cheong Thye
National Day dining does not always need reinvention. Sometimes, the most satisfying celebration is a comforting bowl of porridge surrounded by dishes meant to be shared.
From 25 July to 31 August 2026, Ah Pui Teochew Porridge Buffet at Four Points Eatery will partner with heritage sauce maker Kwong Cheong Thye for Savouring Singapore.
Priced from S$28.80++ per adult, the buffet features more than 20 dishes, including four National Day specials prepared with Kwong Cheong Thye sauces.
The Heritage Seafood Hong Kong Noodles are tossed with light and dark soy sauces and served with a medley of seafood. Classic Steamed Chicken comes with chicken-rice chilli and soy sauces, while Teochew-Style Steamed Squid is balanced with plum sauce. The Riverside Steamed Seabass receives a more contemporary finish with lemongrass coconut sambal.
The regular buffet line-up is equally comforting. Diners can choose between sweet-potato or brown-rice porridge and add dishes such as braised duck, braised pork belly, steamed Muar otah and rotating favourites including curry chicken and chye poh omelette.
A DIY rojak station adds a little interaction to the meal, while the restaurant’s durian pengat—usually reserved for selected festive occasions—provides an indulgent finish.
Four Points Eatery, Four Points by Sheraton Singapore is located at Riverview, 382 Havelock Road, Singapore 169629.

5. PS.Cafe Celebrates National Day with Local-Inspired Specials
PS.Cafe has long been associated with generous portions and polished café comfort food. Its 2026 National Day collection stays true to that identity, combining Singaporean flavours with familiar Western dishes.

Those arriving hungry may prefer the Rendang Mac & Cheese (S$36++), an unapologetically rich combination of braised lamb shank and creamy pasta infused with rendang spices.
The Roti PS. (S$26++) draws inspiration from roti john. Grain-fed beef and corned beef are cooked with onions and egg, packed into a toasted roll and layered with mozzarella, cheddar, curry ketchup and pickled chillies. Naturally, it comes with PS.Cafe’s signature shoestring fries.
Dessert takes the form of Chempedak Pudding (S$18++), pairing fragrant chempedak sponge with coconut white chocolate, vanilla ice cream and toasted coconut.
