The celebrations mark 135 years of Shell in Singapore, with selected Shell service stations transformed into community destinations where motorists can refuel, discover limited-edition merchandise and enjoy special activities with family and friends.
Collect Shell x Monchhichi National Day Collectibles
The highlight of Shell’s National Day 2026 campaign is the limited-edition Shell x Monchhichi collection, which gives the beloved Japanese character a uniquely Singaporean makeover.
Available at Shell service stations islandwide from 1 August to 30 September 2026, while stocks last, the collection features two themed series inspired by Singapore’s culture and iconic landmarks.
The Kopi Series celebrates the charm of traditional kopitiam culture, with Monchhichi dressed as the familiar Kopi Uncle and Kopi Auntie characters. The designs feature nostalgic Singapore elements such as the classic “Good Morning” towel, takeaway kopi bags and old-school coffee shop references.
The collection includes enamel keychains, socks, a nostalgic towel and a crossbody sling bag inspired by a takeaway coffee packet. Designed for both collectors and everyday use, the items can be worn, displayed or added to daily outfits.
The Merlion Series brings another local touch by reimagining Monchhichi as Singapore’s iconic half-lion, half-fish mascot. The playful design offers a fun keepsake for fans of the character and collectors of Singapore-themed merchandise.
Beyond the National Day series, selected Shell stations will also carry other Monchhichi merchandise, including plush toys, bag charms, food containers, tumblers and keychains.

To add more festive cheer to weekend drives, Shell is also launching a three-weekend ice cream activation at selected stations across Singapore.
Customers who purchase Shell V-Power can enjoy complimentary ice cream from the Shell V-Power ice cream cart, with up to 20 flavours available while stocks last.
The activation turns a regular fuel stop into a more enjoyable family outing, with selected Shell stations also featuring Monchhichi mascot appearances where visitors can take photos and create memorable moments.
