3. Indulge in a value-for-money high-tea set menu at YUN NANS

YUN NANS, the world’s largest Yunnan F&B chain with over 150 outlets, has launched a brand-new, high-tea set menu celebrating heritage cuisines in China with the use of fresh ingredients and traditional recipes.

Choose from a mouth-watering array of main dishes: we recommend YUN NANS’ best-selling Truffle Rice Noodles in Prawn Broth (S$13.90) that sees large vannamei prawns and shaved black truffles atop a bowl of slurp-worthy rice noodles and a deliciously umami broth. The Yunnan Rice Noodles with Minced Pork (S$9.90) features a savoury and tangy pork bone soup, minced pork, Yunnan’s chilli sauce, preserved vegetables, fresh chives and loops of al dente noodles. Or for something heartier, go for the Fried Rice with Preserved Vegetables (S$12.90), a traditional dish by the Dai minority, that combines preserved vegetables with fresh red bell peppers, picked chillies, slivers of fried poached egg and green chillies, along with a wonderful wokhei fragrance.

Add on just S$3 to sweeten your high-tea session with selected desserts or drinks. Don’t miss out on the floral and addictive Traditional Baked Rose Pastry (UP S$5.90), made with a filling of fresh rose petals and baked in-house; or the refreshing and delicate Lemongrass Pudding (UP S$4.90).

Drinks-wise, there’s tea, as well as the Raspberry Juice with Tamarind (UP S$4.90), made from a blend of raspberries and tamarind paste.
