More Than Words is a well-known song that suggests how intangible emotions are – but Textures is here to prove that wrong.
A four-day event returning for the second time this year, it aims to show how words can express and explain a spectrum of emotions, as well as showcase Singapore’s multi-faceted literary art community across novelists, visual artists, playwrights, producers and more. There will be programmes ranging from performances, exhibitions, workshops, talks, and a book fair; allowing local literature to be more accessible and relatable to all.
Stop by for a free personalised poem by the Proletariat Poetry Factory; catch Performing Malay Sketches, a stage enactment of Alfian Sa’at’s Malay Sketches; get goosebumps from A Night of Terrifying Tales, or stock up on your book collection at the #BuySingLit Bazaar!
