6. See Lee Min Ho’s new mermaid drama
K-drama superstar Lee Min Ho (“The Heirs”, “Boys Over Flowers”, Bounty Hunters) is back with a mermaid girlfriend in new series, “Legend of the Blue Sea”. Joining him is “My Love from the Star” icon Jun Ji Hyun.
Premiering today (17 Nov) at 8.10pm on One, “Legend of the Blue Sea” takes a cue from the Korean tale of a fisherman who catches and releases a beautiful mermaid. In the present day, genius conman and manipulator Heo Joon Jae (Lee) encounters Shim Chung (Jun), the world’s last mermaid, who has lived for centuries in search of the man who had saved her in the past.
When the two cross paths, hilarity ensues as Shim Chung attempts to adjust to life on land.
