10. Learn more about foster care at public roadshows
Next week is Foster Care Week! From 17 to 25 November, the Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF) is shining the spotlight on fostering, and encouraging families to be a part of the fostering movement. Together with four local fostering agencies, MSF is setting up roadshows and outreach booths at 10 locations across the city (see poster above). If you’re thinking of becoming a foster parent, or just want to find out more about fostering, head down to a booth and speak to a professional!
