9. Kiehl’s NYC Subway: Trash To Art

Kiehl’s NYC Subway: Trash To Art conveyed the message of sustainability and its significance by blending artistic creativity with futuristic elements. Be greeted by Kiehl’s Super Tree, a remarkable installation crafted from Kiehl’s empty containers—a true embodiment of Kiehl’s commitment to sustainability. Initially, this captivating structure catches the eye with its futuristic high-tech screens located at the entrance. These screens display essential product information about the brand’s top best-sellers, including the Calendula Herbal-Extract Alcohol-Free Toner, Clearly Corrective™ Dark Spot Solution, and Ultra Facial Cream, among others.

Upon closer examination, visitors will discern familiar design elements, notably the outlines of repurposed Kiehl’s products that were employed in constructing this eco-friendly masterpiece. This art installation pays tribute to the loyal customers of Kiehl’s who have stood by the brand and have actively participated in recycling efforts to contribute to a better world. The UFC Waterfall is constructed using empty Ultra Facial Cream containers, resembles a waterfall, symbolizing the ultra-hydrating properties of the Ultra Facial Cream. Positioned strategically atop the empty containers drop-off point, it reinforces the primary message of the event—sustainability. The empties drop-off point encourages visitors to deposit cleaned beauty containers, which will aid Kiehl’s in achieving their goal of recycling 60,000 containers this month!
