This Mid-Autumn Festival, catch the adorable sight of two giant panda lanterns at the Sun Yat Sen Nanyang Memorial Hall (SYSNMH)!
The larger-than-life outdoor installation, titled A Mid-Autumn Paw-trait, is presented by SYSNMH in collaboration with toymaker 52Toys’ Panda Roll series. The front lawn of SYSNMH will be home to the two black-and-white bears from now to 1 October 2023 – one sitting in a relaxed position, and the other in a stretching stance. This year’s special outdoor installation puts the spotlight on giant pandas to acknowledge past and ongoing conservation efforts, and to celebrate the reclassification of the species’ status from ‘endangered’ to ‘vulnerable’.
Sun Yat Sen Nanyang Memorial Hall is located at 12 Tai Gin Rd, Singapore 327874.
